Job Description

Responsibilities include generating and supporting end user sales of MovinCool products through distribution channels in assigned territory to achieve annual sales goals. Responsible for total territory management including: Forecasting, Accounts Receivables performance, Annual Sales Plan Development and Maintenance, and Product Training. Responsible for coordinating sales activities with the account’s management for attainment of sales objectives for the account and territory, and keep accounts up-to-date on DENSO product lines and enhancements.

Job Requirements

  • Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university and 5+ year’s related sales experience.  Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Prior Technical Sales experience in the HVAC industry, primarily with a strong background in Commercial/Industrial air conditioning preferred.

  • Consultative sales, Account Management, Strategic planning, problem solving, and excellent communication skills required.

  • Manages current accounts and maintains frequent communication with customers regarding account status, any order or delivery issues, informing on new or redesigned products and any other issues.

  • Organize and monitor the activities of existing customers within assigned territory and/or customer accounts.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales programs and promotions to existing customers.  Interface with other departments, facilitate training clinics and attend regional trade shows.

  • Experience with growing revenue through current customers by directly developing end-user opportunities.  

  • Gather and report on competitive intelligence in assigned territory

  • Working knowledge of a Customer Relationship Management software (e.g. Salesforce). 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be a skillful presenter that can interpret information based on a general knowledge of the organization, its products and procedures, and provide an independent explanation and discussion based on the technical or complex nature of the materials being discussed

  • Supports accounts by attending trade shows, open houses and vendor days to represent DENSO products to current and prospective accounts. Relays industry information to department and product managers.

  • Must be able to travel extensively (approximately 60%) with occasional weekend travel. 

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English.

  • This role will support the Midwest Area.
