Job Description

  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (MUST meet minimum qualifications to be considered) Bachelor degree in Engineering (ME, ChemE, EE, Mfg Eng) and previous experience in manufacturing environment, or 10 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor degree.  

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Excellent communication skills.  Ability to organize, plan and lead projects.  Willing to work overtime on off shifts and/or weekend when required.  Ability to work in a team environment.  Strong project management skills (Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously).  Ability to Multitask and detail oriented.  Highly Self Motivated.  Mechanically inclined, hands-on and willing to learn new things.  Technically competent.  Willing to travel both domestic and international.   PREFERENCES A pro-active person who will seek out and implement additional tasks that add value to the company.  A good problem solver that incorporates the plan, do, check and action methods.  Proficient in MS Office software.  Computer Aided Design experience, especially AutoCAD.  Ability to lift heavy objects >35lbs (DataPaq, Jigs, Braze Trays...)  Ability to work standing up for >4 hours at a time.   DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Support HEX prototype development activities.  Work with DIAM PG1 to develop test plan to evaluate HEX design.  Develop processes and methods to build prototype HEX products.  Manage projects from inception through completion.  Support prototype shop to build prototype HEX products.  Create PFMEA and PCP documents for prototype HEX products.  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job you may be asked to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift or carry component parts weighing up to 35 pounds-lifting parts in excess of 35 pounds with a lift assist, work on the production line for short periods of time, use hands to handle or feel parts, reach with hand and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear, use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, frequent phone use and typing.  The work environment will vary from an open office setting to a production environment.
