Job Description

Summary:

Contribute towards the achievement of DENSO's 2020 North American Long Term Policy/Objective, by implementing new processes and tools to increase overall efficiency of DENSO International America.


Essential Responsibilities:

Support engineering efficiency project to enhance the way DIAM engineers complete their daily job by:

• Plan, coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and support engineering systems with a focus on BoM/ECI management.
• Capture user requirements, document business requirements, and proposal change process.
• Create/maintain/organize development tool reference materials such as; user guides, instructions, training and user feedback.
• Support tool users (troubleshoot tool problems, response to urgent needs)
• Administer and maintain systems both process & tools.
• Conducting research to identify opportunities to for improvement
Assisting in the implementation of new processes and/or systems

Job Requirements

Minimum Level of Education and Training Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2 – 7 years of relevant experience
• Understanding of processes and systems used in automotive product or project engineering
• Experience with process development and continuous improvement
• Experience with Bill of Material/Engineering Change Information System
